Recognition of foreign education (nostrification)

Nostrification of a foreign diploma gives you the right to work in Russia in your field. In addition, after having your diploma recognized, you can continue your education in the Russian Federation. If the nostrification process is completed successfully, a certificate recognizing the documents or qualifications is issued.

The recognition procedure is required for:

foreign nationals
Russian citizens who received their education abroad

Documents required for nostrification:

application (completed by our bureau under a power of attorney)
copy of the applicant’s passport
original educational document and its supplement
copy of the educational document holder’s passport
copy of the document confirming a change of surname or first name (if the full name in the passport and educational document does not match)
notarized translation of the attached documents (educational document and its supplement, passport, and document confirming a change of surname or first name)
notarized power of attorney to represent your interests (we will provide a template)

Order

How is nostrification carried out?

Nostrification is carried out in several stages:

Free consultation

1 Submission of the application and scanned documents electronically
2 Review of the application by the relevant authority
3 Payment of the state fee
4 Submission of the original documents in Moscow
5 Receipt of a certificate recognizing foreign education or foreign qualifications (starting from January 2020 year, an electronic certificate is issued)
6 Sending the completed documents to the owner

Including the state fee. Service completion time: from 15 to 90 calendar days. The completed document will be sent electronically. If desired, you can print the certificate and have it notarized.

Passport and educational document translation

If you do not have translations of your passport and educational document, we will prepare them.
